Fireproofing
Ensuring Safety and Resilience Through Fireproofing
Why Fireproofing Matters
Ensures compliance with local and national fire codes
Helps maintain the integrity of your building’s structural frame in a fire
Can provide up to 4 hours of fire resistance, depending on the system
Required in most Type I and Type II construction projects.
Our Process
Project Review & Scope Assessment
We start by reviewing your construction plans, fire protection requirements, and specifications. Our team works with your GC, engineers, and architects to identify all structural fireproofing needs and clarify code compliance targets (IBC, NFPA, UL, etc.).
Material Selection & Specification Matching
Based on your project’s type, fire rating requirements, and exposure conditions, we recommend and source the appropriate fireproofing materials—such as SFRMs, intumescent coatings, or firestop systems—from trusted manufacturers.
Site Prep & Coordination
We coordinate closely with other trades to avoid schedule conflicts and ensure proper access to structural elements. We also prep all surfaces to meet adhesion and environmental conditions for safe and effective application.
Professional Application
Our certified technicians apply fireproofing materials according to manufacturer guidelines and UL assembly specifications. We use the latest spray equipment and techniques to ensure uniform coverage and consistent thickness.
Quality Control & Inspection
We conduct thorough inspections and thickness testing (wet and dry film), following ASTM standards. Third-party inspection coordination is handled as needed to ensure full compliance with local and national fire codes.
Project Closeout & Follow-Up
We perform a final walk-through with your team to address any punch items, and remain available for follow-up questions, warranty information, and future maintenance or retrofits.
